Die Wichtigkeit des Versorungsystems:

Calcium, Karbonathärte und Magnesium sind sogenannten Grundelemente, die von Korallen und einigen niederen Tieren verbraucht werden, um Ihre kalkhaltigen Skelette zu bilden. Ihr Zusammenspiel in Kombination mit Salzdichte, Temperatur und anderen Spurenelementen macht die Wasseraqualität aus.

Calcium:
Wert im Riffaquarium: 380-420 mg/l
Calcium ist die Grundlage vieler maritimer Tiere 

Magnesium:
Wert im Riffaquarium: 1.200–1.350 mg/l
 

Die Dosierung von Grundelementen:

Die Dosierung der Grundelemente erfolgt täglich anhand eines Tröpfchentests oder ICP Analyse, um eine gute Grundsatzversorgung sicherzustellen. Eine Dosierung kann via Dosierautomat ganz automatisch erfolgen oder mit Hilfe von Plastikspritzen und Dosierflasche.
